The girls competed in the Arlington Lamar Girls Tournament over the holidays. The team of Elyse Mims, Jessica Lemmer, Sarah Stewart and Erica Gafken finished 7th out of 14 teams. Jessica Lemmer finished 3rd and Sarah Stewart took 1st.

Midlothian boys JV defeated Grand Prairie 18-9. Picking up wins all by pins were Austin Warner, Dylan Johnson and Cayn Miller.

Midlothian hosted their first major wrestling event Jan 3 in the arena. Teams that competed were Frisco Wakeland, Wylie, Weatherford, LD Bell and Quinlan Ford.

The Boys Varsity defeated Wylie 48-42. Loren Krott, Richard Shaw, Kyle Gillispie, Cainen Cox, Todd Valderas, and Collin Johansen were victorious in the match.

Collin Johansen, Conner Stewart, Troy Dobbins, and Greg Burch had wins against Frisco Wakeland.

In girls round robin action against Frisco Wakeland, LD Bell and Quinlan Ford, Jessica Lemmer had three wins, Elyse Mims had two and Sarah Stewart had one.

The JV boys did well on the day defeating Quinlan Ford, Wylie, and Weatherford. Wrestling in the JV division were Daniel Hanson, Peyton Adkins, Darin Pierce, Austin Warner, Dylan Johnson, Rudy Rameriz, Cayn Miller, Tobias Bong, Loren Krott, Jacob Windsor, and Conner Stewart.

Jan 6th Midlothian Wrestling teams hosted Quinlan Ford and Irving in a tri meet.

The boys varsity defeated district foe Irving 66-24.
Winners in the match were Loren Krott, Richard Shaw, Kyle Gillispie, John Minter, Canien Cox, Gillermo Cevera, Dylan Johnson, Todd Valderas, Collin Johansen and Troy Dobbins.

Winning their matches against Quinlan Ford were Kyle Gillispie, Cainen Cox, and Todd Valderas.

Picking up wins in JV action were Austin Warner, Darin Pierce, Rudy Rameriz, Cayn Miller and Conner Stewart.

The girls defeated both Quinlan Ford and Irving in round robin action. Elyse Mims, Jessica Lemmer, Sarah Stewart and Erica Gafken had a combined record of 7 wins and 1 lose on the night.

The boys varsity and junior varsity are in action this weekend at the Arlington Lamar Tournament.
