Report cards for the 2nd six weeks grading period will be sent home. Students with no zeroes for the 2nd six weeks will be eligible to attend the No Zeroes Parties on November 20 for 6th grade and November 21 for 7th and 8th grade.

WGMS Cookbook
We are compiling a WGMS cookbook for a fundraiser for our school. Any student, parent or staff member may contribute recipes. Please find your favorite recipes and submit them using our online form or submit a hardcopy in the WGMS office by Friday, November 21. Please include your name or the student's name on the recipe. We would like to make a cookbook that can be enjoyed by all! |

Box Tops for Education
The math department will be collecting Box Tops for Education this year. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents to our school. Please clip these and send them with your child. Collection boxes will be in the math rooms. Visit www.btfe.com for a complete list of products.

Student Drop off & Pick up Info
Safety when dropping students off before school and when picking them up after school is crucial. Please remember the following:
1. Please use only the front drive for student drop off or pick up.
The back drive is for buses only.
2. Please adhere to a 10 MPH speed limit while on school property.
3. Please drop students off in the right parking lane only in the mornings.
4. After school, you may pick up your student in either the right or the left parking lane. The two center lanes are for through traffic only.
We appreciate your help in keeping our kids safe!

PowerSchool Access
Parents may access grades for all their child's classes utilizing the PowerSchool website. Letters with the log-in information were sent home on Friday, September 5. If you have questions, please contact Darla Blair at 972-775-5355. |

Dec. 4: 8th Graders Visit Midlothian High School
WGMS 8th graders will travel to the high school to view a presentation entitled, “Career Pathways.” This program is designed to show incoming freshmen all of the elective course offerings at the high school, and give our kids a brief overview of the offerings. Eighth grade teachers, counselors and administrators will travel with students. Buses will depart at 9:30 am and will return at approximately 11:30am.
