District Tournament Results
The Varsity Tennis Team competed in the District 15-4A Tennis Tournament on April 8th and 9th. The Boys team came in 2nd overall and the Girls team placed 3rd. The following players will be representing Midlothian in the Region 2 tennis tournament on April 23 and 24.

- Tanner Hill- Boys Singles plaeced 2nd in District losing a tight 3 set match in the finals.

- The doubles team of Justin Honeycutt and Justin Toth placed 3rd making them an alternate team to regionals.

- The mixed doubles team of Christa Watson and Nathan Winsor placed 3rd making them an alternate team to regionals.

Congratulations to all the Varsity Tennis Team for a very successful year.

- The JV Tennis Team competed in the District Tournament on April 10. The team placed 2nd overall.

The individual results are as follows.

- In Mixed Doubles Adam Anderson and Hailey Richards won 1st place

- In Boys Doubles Drew Tims and Wyatt Johnson won 2nd place and Lance Hames and Rhett Schroers won 3rd place.

- In Boys Singles Levi Houser won 3rd place.

Congratulations to these players on a great performance at the JV District Tennis Tournament.

The Walnut Grove Wildcat tennis team cruised to a 15-4 victory over the Howard Knights on Thursday, April 10th.  With the win, the Cats move to 6-0 in district play and bring home a District Team Tennis Championship to Walnut Grove. Congratulations Wildcats on a great season!

The Frank Seale Cub tennis team also proved victorious on Thursday, April 10 by overpowering the Worley Tigers by a score of 10-9.  With the win, the Cubs move to 4-3 in district play and conclude their season with a 3rd place district finish.

Girls Doubles: Jordan Pille/Emma Doskocil won 1st place
Boys Doubles: Tucker Putty/Garrett Blake placed 2nd
Mixed Doubles: Christa Watson/Nathan Winsor won 2nd place

Drew Timms/Wyatt Johnson won 3rd place in A doubles.
Rhett Schroers/Lance Hames won 1st place in B doubles.
In A singles Travis Pille won 2nd place and in B singles Allen Scribner won 3rd
In mixed doubles Hailey Richards/Adam Anderson won 1st place.

Fall Results
The Varsity tennis team played in the Alvarado Fall Tournament this past Friday. The Midlothian team placed 1st out of 12 teams. The individual results are as follows:

- In boys A doubles the team of Justin Honeycutt and Justin Toth won 1st place
- In boys B doubles the team of Garrett Blake and Tucker Putty took 2nd place
- In girls A doubles Jordan Pille and Emma Doskocil placed 3rd
- In girls B doubles Liana Awad and Jacque Liekis won 3rd
- In mixed A doubles Olivia Teague and Nathan Winsor finished 2nd
- In mixed B doubles John Nigo and Ashley Yeager won 1st place
- In boys A singles Tanner Hill placed 2nd and in boys B singles Chris Laterza won 1st place.

The JV tennis team played in the Burleson tournament last week finishing 2nd overall. The individual results are as follows:

- In A boys doubles Drew Timms and Wyatt Johnson placed 2nd
- In B boys doubles Travis Pille and Lance Hamns placed 2nd
- In A girls doubles Jessica Lemmer and Katie Osburne won 1st place
- In B mixed doubles Cody Dillard and Molly Golden won 3rd place
- In A boys singles Rhett Schroers placed 2nd and in B boys singles Levi Houser won 2nd.
