With the event of Xanga, MySpace, and other online journals, predators have found a easy way to make contact with our children. It is important that we, as parents and educators, learn what to look for and dangers to avoid as our children go online. A study shows one in five children will be solicited online in the next year.
Our Attorney General of Texas, Greg Abbott, launched a Cyber Crimes unit in 2003 and has posted a very informative site that deals with Cyber Safety issues.
