Mt. Peak's Student Council welcomed Midlothian's Chief of Police, Carl Smith, on Wednesday, November 14, as part of our "Cookies for Courage" service project. While he was here he answered questions about what it is like to be a Police Officer, and he even brought one of the new police cars. The kids really enjoyed getting to get in and look around!
The Student Council members honored our courageous fire fighters and police officers with trays of yummy, homemade cookies. Remember to say, "Thank you!" to these Hometown Heroes!
