STATE AND NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
AHF Scholarship
Eligible: High School Senior
Scholarship Amount: $undisclosed
Criteria:
-Submit a completed application form indicating a sincere interest in an automotive career
-provide an official transcript of all academic work
-submit two letters of recommendation supporting your automotive interests
-Submit a letter of acceptance for an associate, bachelor, or masters program
-be accepted at an accredited college, university, or trade school within the U.S.
-must be a U.S. citizen or on a student VISA
-must be enrolled full time
-must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

Texas Woman's University Terry Foundation Scholarship
Eligible: High School Senior attending Texas Woman's University
Scholarship Amount: $undisclosed

Army ROTC Scholarship
Eligible: High School Senior
Scholarship Amount: undisclosed
Criteria:
-be a U.S. Citizen
-be between the ages or 17 and 26
-have a high school GPA of 2.50 or higher
-have a score of 920 on SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excludes writing)
-agree to accept a comission and serve in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian
 career
Your commitment:
-an 8 year service with the Army
-service full time in the Army and four years with the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR)
-selected cadets may choose to serve part time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilain career
Deadline: February 1

AFA Teens Scholarship
Eligible: High School Senior
Scholarship Amount: (Grand Prize Winner) $5,000 (first runner up) $500 (second runner up) $250
Criteria:
-must be a U.S. citizen
-plan to attend a 4 year college or university within 12 months of scholarship deadline
-be currently enrolled in a public, independent, prochial,military or other high school in the U.S.-

The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
Eligible: High School Senior
Scholarship Amount: 4 year scholarships for up to $7,500.00
Criteria:
-must be a U.S. citizen
-plan to attend a 4 year college or university within 12 months of scholarship deadline
-be a graduating, minority, high school senior
-show leadership potential
-demostrate a dedication to community service
-present evidence of financial need
-a minimun SAT score of 1000 combined in math and critical reading sections of a composite ACT score
of 21 and,
- not posess a degree from a 2 or 4 year college when applying for the scholarship

wace scholarship
Eligible: High School Senior
Scholarship Amount: undisclosed
Criteria:
-have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
-apply and be accepted fr the 2013-2014 academic year at one of the following WACE Partner Institutions listed HERE

The Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship
Eligible: High School Senior
Scholarship Amount: $5,000
Criteria:

The  Buick Achievers Scholarship
Eligible: High School Senior
Scholarship Amount: 1,000 scholarships of $2000/ 100 National Scholarships of up to $25,000 per year, renewable for up to 4 years and one additional year for those entering a five year engineering program.
Criteria:
- be a high school senior
- plan to enroll in full time undergraduate study at an accredited four year college or university
- plan to major in a specified course of study that focuses on Engineering/Technology or select design and business  programs for list of eligible majors click HERE
- be interested in pursing a career in automotive or related industries
- be a U.S. citizen and have permanent residence in the United States

Students who do not have access to computers at home may use computers in the A.H. Meadows Library. Please note the requirements and deadlines for each scholarship as well as where each completed application must be submitted. As new scholarship opportunities become available they will be posted at that time.
