Christopher Reeve Award

Award: $1,000
Deadline: December 1, 2014
Available to: High School Freshman through College Freshman


Provided by the Heart of American Foundation, the Christopher Reeve Award is available to middle school and high school students who demonstrate tremendous compassion and caring in serving their community.

You must be nominated by a non-relative to be considered for this award.




TicketCity Annual College Scholarship Program
Award: $2,500
Deadline: December 1, 2014
Available to: College Freshman through College Junior
The TicketCity Annual College Scholarship Program is open to freshman, sophomore, and junior students enrolled in an accredited University.



You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be eligible for this award.

To be considered, you must submit a 500 – to 800 – word essay on one of three subject options, and upload a picture or video of yourself showing off your game – day spirit.




Bluetooth Breakthrough Award

Award: $5,000
Deadline: December 5, 2014
Available to: High School Freshman through Graduate Student, Year 5

The Bluetooth Breakthrough Award is available to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students.

To be considered, you must submit an idea for a product, application, prototype; or student – led project that demonstrates how Bluetooth technology can be used in new ways.

A letter of recommendation from a teacher or professor is advised.

NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund Youth Essay Contest
Award: $1,000
Deadline: December 12, 2014
Available to: High School Freshman through High School Senior



The NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund Youth Essay Contest is open to students in grades k through 12.

To be eligible, you must submit an essay of about 1,000 words on the following theme: “What Does The Second Amendment Mean to You?”

NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards program
was established to raise awareness among the nation’s youth of the critical role that private enterprise and entrepreneurship play in the building of America. Since 2003, the NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation has awarded over 2,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors totaling more than $2.5 million.

2015 application materials will be posted here beginning October 1, 2014. Students are encouraged to apply for our awards beginning October 1, 2014, and may apply until December 18, 2014. Once you have started your application for the NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards, please add donotreply@applyists.com to your email contact list, as this is how you will receive information about your application, your applicant status, and your designation as an Award winner.

NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards are open to any graduating high school senior entering their freshman year at an accredited (not for profit) two- or four-year university, college or vocational/technical institute. Applicants MUST be running their own small business in order to be considered for an award.

$20,000 Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Scholarship
Due December 18th, 2014
The Foot Locker Scholar Athletes program honors student athletes who demonstrate excellence in school, on their sports teams, and in their communities. Whether you are the fastest on the team or the most supportive player, we want to hear how sports helped you grow into a strong leader at school and in your community. Rubincam Youth Award
Award: $500
Deadline: December 31, 2014
Available to: Ages 16-18

The Rubincam Youth Award is available to students in grades 10 to 12 or between the ages of 16 and 18.

To be considered, you must submit a single – line genealogy in a biographical format for five generations.

Submissions should demonstrate understanding of various original and derivative source records. It should apply critical analysis and intellectual skills in compiling the family genealogy.

Events should be placed in historical and genealogical context.

I’m In Scholarship
Deadline: December 31, 2014
Award: $1,000
Available to: High School Freshman through Graduate Student, Year 5


The I’m In Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students.

To be considered, you must answer the following question in a 650 – word essay: “Do coupons influence your purchasing decisions? Why, or why not?” The top ten essays will be determined by number of online votes, followed by final judging from the scholarship committee.
