Education Foundation Awards New Grants
The Midlothian ISD Education Foundation awarded 7 grants to 24 teachers totaling $29,000 for the Spring grant cycle. The winning grants are:
- Innovative Instruction: iPads for College Readiness (Midlothian High School)
- SciBiotics (Walnut Grove Middle School)
- Project Build: Building Usable, Instructional, Learning Devices (Frank Seale Middle School)
- Partner PE: Pathways to Success (Midlothian High School)
- Solving the Mystery of DNA (Midlothian High School)
- Win With Centergy (Frank Seale Middle School)
- Mr. Owl, How Many Ways Can You Use an iPad Mini? (J.A. Vitovsky Elementary)

Adopt-A-Grant Program
The Adopt-A-Grant Program is designed as an addition to the Innovative Teaching Grant Program. The Midlothian Education Foundation works tirelessly on behalf of MISD to gather funds from businesses and the community in order to grant campuses with money for innovative grants. Due to the recent state budgeting issues, MEF felt it necessary to create a second category of grants to address campus and district needs due to budget shortfalls. These grants may be innovative, but may also be a request for basic materials or items needed. More
