Honor-A-Teacher and Staff (HATS) Program

"HATS" Off to MISD Teachers and Staff!

The end of the school year is a perfect time to participate in the Midlothian ISD Education Foundationís Honor-A-Teacher and Staff (HATS) program! For a donation of $10, the MEF will award a certificate and pin of appreciation to a special professional at Midlothian ISD. For $50, you may honor six individuals.

In addition to your child's subject teachers and assistants, consider celebrating the hard work of nurses, office staff, custodians, library workers, etc. All who work to enhance your childís learning are eligible to be honored in this very special program. Your donation will also be providing vital financial support that directly funds MEF grant initiatives.

The HATS gift package includes a HATS Recognition Award (sent directly to the teacher or staff person), listing on the MISD/MEF website, a small gift, and recognition in the May edition of Midlothian NOW Magazine. Teachers truly appreciate this gesture of support and celebration, and display the HATS award in their classroom.

HATS recipients will receive their certificates and pins during National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 7-12, 2012.
