Welcome!

Welcome to LaRue Miller Elementary School and our third year!  Our extraordinary educational journey continues for our learners and their families as we hop on the Miller Bus and hit the road to travel the U.S. in 180 school days!  Our campus design and leadership teams have created an engaging campus theme for learners and their leaders to share throughout the course of various studies this year.  We are on the road to success across the U.S. at Miller!

As always, we are here to serve you, our learning community!  Because communication and collaboration are critical to building trust, relationships, and ultimately results, please keep the home-school connection open at all times.  If you do not receive necessary feedback from a staff member, please feel free to call me personally @ 972-775-4497 or email me at beth_van_amburgh@midlothian-isd.net (I have a tricky last name with two parts, thus the long email address).  Please let me know how we may best serve you and your learner at LaRue Miller Elementary.

On behalf of the entire staff of LME leaders, welcome to our growing campus.  We encourage you to involve yourself in our daily campus life.  You are always welcome to visit, eat lunch in our café, attend campus functions, and volunteer your time in our classrooms.  Because a safe learning environment is critical to success, please know our front office staff and I follow district guidelines and policies regarding all visitors (details and necessary forms are found online and in your first-day folders).  Please help us by doing your part; we promise to follow-through with our part as well.
