The Midlothian ISD Library Services Program provides assistance through Library Media Specialists located at each campus. The library media specialists serve as Information Specialists, Teachers, Instructional Partners and Program Administrators.
The A.H. Meadows Library is a joint library serving the City of Midlothian and Midlothian High School students. Patrons of this library receive services through public library and state library endeavors.

The Midlothian ISD Library Services Program is designed with the intent to promote student achievement. With the purpose of ensuring students and staff as effective users of ideas and information, the program goals are as follows:
- To provide intellectual access to information through learning activities integrated into the curriculum.
- To provide physical access to information through a carefully selected and systematically organized collection of diverse resources a systematic procedure for acquiring information including electronic networks, interlibrary loans, and cooperative agreements with other information agencies.
- To provide learning experiences that encourage users to become discriminating consumers and skilled creators of information.
- To provide leadership, collaboration, and assistance to teachers and others in the use of instructional and information technology for learning.
- To provide resources and activities that contribute to lifelong learning while accommodating a wide range of differences in teaching and learning styles, methods, interests, and capacities.
- To provide a program that functions as the information center of the school through integrated and interdisciplinary learning activities.
- To provide resource and activities for learning that represent a diversity of experiences, opinions, and social and cultural perspectives supporting intellectual freedom.
