J.A. Vitovsky Elementary
was built in the northwest area of the Midlothian Independent School
District and opened on August 30, 2001. The campus is located at 333
Church Street approximately one block off of Highway 67 and about 1
mile from Highway 287. The school takes its name from Mrs. Jackie Vitovsky
who served Midlothian ISD proudly as a school board member from
1996-1999.
When J.A. Vitovsky
opened in the fall of 2001, it served all of the district's 5th and
6th graders with an average enrollment of approximately 930 students.
J.A. Vitovsky opened as a PreK - 5th grade campus for the 2005-06 school
