AP Biology II  Students, I am excited about having you in class next year for AP Biology.  It is a fun, but challenging course.  In order for us to cover all of the information in the course description, it is necessary that you do some preparatory work this summer.  So, I am asking that you read the first 6 chapters in the Campbell Biology book and write a summary or outline of the information.  The summaries need to be hand-written and need to be at least four pages (two pages front and back) each.  This assignment will give you some base knowledge and allow us to move more quickly into the complex material.  It will be taken as a grade.  In addition, you will be able to use the summaries for extra credit points to be added to tests throughout the year. I suggest that you pace yourself with this assignment. Do one chapter a week for 6 weeks.  Do not wait until the week before school starts to begin this assignment. Thanks and have a great summer!
