Read 2 novels: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain Billy Budd by Herman Melville Writing Assignment: Great works of literature use water as a metaphor for change.  In a well organized essay explain how their respective journeys change the major characters  in these two novels.  Do not confine your response to plot summary and be mindful of the verb tense required in a literary analysis.  (due the first day of school)
