On Thursday May 23, 2013, the 8th grade golf teams from Frank Seale and
Walnut Grove played in the district golf tournament at Walnut Creek
Country Club against the middle schools from Mansfield. The teams competed
very well with Walnut Grove girls finishing in second place, Walnut Grove
Boys finishing in third place, and Frank Seale Boys finishing in 7th
place. Sydney Leverette won the individual District title and Anna Traylor
finished in 5th place in the girls division. Will Traylor finished in 5th
place in the boys division The golfers ended the season very well in a very competitive district. We look forward to what they will accomplish in High School.

On Wednesday May 22, 2013, the 7th grade golf teams from Frank Seale and Walnut Grove competed in
the district tournament at Walnut Creek Country Club. The golf team
competed against all the middle schools in Mansfield, and they
represented Midlothian very well with their playing ability and their
class and character. The 7th grade boys from Walnut Grove finished in a tie for 2nd place, the Frank Seale Boys finished in 6th place, and the Frank Seale Girls finished in 6th place. Dawson Sanders finished 2nd overall in the individual competition and Will Welch finished in 4th place. It was a great showing by the
boys and girls, and a great way to end the season. Below are the 7th grade teams for the
tournament.
