The
Middle School Community Problem Solvers from both Frank Seale MS and Walnut
Grove MS recently took a learning and reasearch trip to the North Texas
Food Bank. We spent the day packing crates for the different organizations
to take to their local facilities along with MANY boxes of canned goods
that resulted from the numerous food drives that take place at this time
of year. We packed a total of approximately 3300-3400 pounds of food! We
also spent part of our time interviewing and questioning the staff at the
North Texas Food Bank to gain a deeper understanding of their operations.
This was a very rewarding experience for all the students! |
