Students and administrators enjoy a little chocolate at the HO HO HO No Zeros Party.

The Middle School Community Problem Solvers from both Frank Seale MS and Walnut Grove MS recently took a learning and reasearch trip to the North Texas Food Bank. We spent the day packing crates for the different organizations to take to their local facilities along with MANY boxes of canned goods that resulted from the numerous food drives that take place at this time of year. We packed a total of approximately 3300-3400 pounds of food! We also spent part of our time interviewing and questioning the staff at the North Texas Food Bank to gain a deeper understanding of their operations. This was a very rewarding experience for all the students!

GT kids from J.R. Irvin Elementary came over to learn how Cub News is produced. They spent the hour working with Logan Staggs, Hunter Hipsman, and Brandi Tucker. The kids from Irvin recorded the announcements for tomorrow's classroom broadcast.

Mrs. Dennington, Mrs. Arturbern and Mr. Tipton took a pie in the face for raising more than $4000 in the Frank Seale Book Fair.

FSMS cubs enjoy juke box music during lunch. The juke box will be available for play all year during all lunches. Thanks PTV!!

State Representative, Jim Pitts from District 10, spoke to the 7th graders at FSMS on Constitution Day. He presented information about the constitution and the process a bill must go through to become a law. He had several of the students simulate the different roles of various lawmakers and citizens and the process a law must undertake to be enacted. He also addressed our new Texas Flag pledge and the procedure it went through to be changed.
