McEnturff wins Iron Panther Award
A plaque is presented at the end of off-season to the athlete who had the best overall off-season. This year has been another amazing spring for the Panthers. All of the athletes had a phenomenal off-season and gave so much of their time and energy to make this spring one that will be remembered forever by the fans of Midlothian football. The leadership and level of commitment within this senior class this year is really something special to be around on a daily basis. The name of this award is the Iron Panther award, and it symbolizes a young man who has worked day in and day out to be the best Midlothian Panther he can become. The coaches deliberated at length about possible recipients of the award this year. There are so many of these athletes who are deserving of this award. After the lengthy debate, the coaches came up with a decision. This plaque will continue to be on the wall in the hallway as soon as you enter the field house. Coach Wiginton and the entire Midlothian Football coaching staff are thrilled to announce the winner of the 2013 Iron Panther Award: Cameron McEnturff. Congratulations Cameron!
