MISD Achievements

  • Met AYP 5 Years in a Row. Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) standards are established by the Texas Education Agency in compliance with the No Child Left Behind Act.
  • "Superior Achievement" for six years in a row in the state's Schools FIRST Financial Rating System.
  • 2007-2008 15-4A District Cup. Athletic Program moved from 9th in DFW to the 5th strongest Athletic Program in the Metroplex. This is the 2nd year in a row the program won its district 15-4A in total points for all programs.
