| Update: Oct. 2007 |
The staff and students at T.E. Baxter Elementary are enjoying the additions and renovations to the building. Eight new classrooms were added - two kindergarten classrooms and six classrooms in the 5th grade wing. The 5th graders love having their own lockers! The gymnasium now has rubber flooring in place of carpet. A traverse rock climbing wall was recently added in the gym as well, and students are eager to try it out. Every classroom at Baxter had carpeting removed from the walls and floors. New carpeting was installed on the floors, and a tackable surface wall was added in place of the carpeted walls. The front office was totally reconfigured to provide a security entrance and conference room. We are proud of our new look! |
