2009 Football Season Tickets
It’s that time of year once again. As varsity season ticket holders, we would like to extend an opportunity to you to purchase the same tickets for the upcoming 2009 Panther football season. This package will include tickets for all home games, plus a ticket to the Texas Classic. You have until 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 11 to renew and purchase your current season seats. Please call the Athletic Office at 972-775-8174 to renew or decline.

 Midlothian Track Wins Big!
Congratulations to Carly Kitts and Vince Frawley who brought home 3 gold medals from the state track & field meet this past weekend in Austin, Texas. Carly ran a 10:52 to secure her first place finish in the 3200m on June 5th. Vince Frawley jumped an impressive 16' in the pole vault to secure his gold medal, and finally later that same evening Carly ran a 5:03 in 1600m to win her second Gold medal and MHS's 3rd for the day. MISD is extremely proud of these two athletes. They represented themselves, their families and Midlothian with Panther Pride! |

 Baughman Named New Head Girls Basketball Coach
Midlothian High School Lady Panthers will see a new head girls basketball coach for the 2009-2010 season. Brooke Baughman was recently hired to build a tradition of pride and help students reach their potential in the classroom and on the court.
Baughman has been the Colony High School varsity assistant and JV basketball coach since 2007. She was voted Coaching Staff of the Year district 5-4A and coached her team to win the 2009 District Championship. As a four-year letterman at Texas Tech University, Baugham brings qualified experience to the team. She will teach P.E. and serve as the head girls basketball coach. |

Athletic Development Plan created for Middle School athletes
Our staff has recently implemented a newly created Athletic Development Plan for our middle school students. This plan consists of written components that our athletes must develop in preparation for a successful experience in high school athletics.

2009 MHS Football Schedules Released
We are pleased to release the 2009 football schedules for all the high school teams. The varsity schedule includes an exciting start to the season by competing in the annual Dave Campbell's Texas Football Classic in San Antonio. The game will be played in the Alamo Dome on Friday night to open the season. Midlothian will also be an early release site for the annual summer publication 'Dave Campbell's 2009 Texas Football' magazine. Check the football web site for more details to come. Also, please check the web site over the summer for team travel details and hotel information for anyone wanting to stay in San Antonio on Friday night after the game. |
