Fall is full of competitive sports. Panther fans - come support the MHS students who are involved in cross country, football, golf, tennis, and volleyball. Continuing a great tradition on a strong foundation is the Athletic Department's motto.

Parent Meeting Regarding Random Drug Testing for Students in Extracurricular Activities
Monday, September 13, 2009 at the Midlothian High School Auditorium, 6:00 pm
Parents are encouraged to learn about the MISD random drug testing procedures for all students in grades 9-12 who participate in competitive extracurricular activities. The drug testing will be administered throughout the year on randomly selected students who participate in the District's competitive extracurricular activities. Midlothian is now a 5A School District

This morning the University Interscholastic League announced its district alignments for the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 school years. UIL governs most secondary extracurricular activities in Texas and assign classifications to schools based on the high school enrollment. During the October snapshot date, Midlothian High School had 2,215 students. The cut-off to be considered a 5A school district is 2,065+ students. Therefore, MISD is now a 5A school district. More |
