On Friday night, the MHS Panther Football team invited some of their youngest fans to watch Spring Practice. Afterwards, the players invited them on the field and signed autographs! Be sure to check out the rest of the gallery here.

Congratulations to Midlothian Varsity Baseball Coach, Ray Hydes for winning his 300th Career game on Friday, May 10th against Colleyville Heritage!
Coach Hydes joins an elite group of coaches to accomplish 300+ Career victories.
Coach Hydes is in his 25th year of teaching and coaching serving 16 of those years as a head coach. He became the head baseball coach at Midlothian in 1999 and has led continue to lead the Panther Baseball program to a winning tradition. Since becoming head coach, his teams have advanced to the playoffs 13 out of 15 years, winning 3 District Championships, 3 Bi-District Championships and have advanced to the Regional Quarterfinals twice and the Regional Semi-Finals twice.
Coach Hydes has been voted District Coach of the Year 3 times and was the Regional Director for the Texas High School Coaches Association.
He was joined on the field by his wife, Tanya, his daughter, Raegan and the 2013 Varsity Baseball team.

Congratulations to the MHS Varsity Baseball Team for winning their first Class 5A District Championship! The Panthers finished alone in first place for District 7-5A and will end their district season tonight against Cedar Hill at 7:00 pm in Midlothian.
The Panthers are currently 22-6-1 on the season and 12-1 in district play. They will begin the first round of the Class 5A UIL State Baseball playoffs next week against a to be determined opponent from District 8-5A. Congratulations Panthers!

Congratulations to the MHS Boys' Soccer Team for winning their first Class 5A District Championship! The Panthers finished alone in first place for District 7-5A and ended the regular season with an overall record of 15-2-7 and a district record of 12-0-2. In the first round of the Class 5A UIL State Soccer Playoffs they will face Harker Heights on Friday, March 29th at 8:00 pm in Waco.
