The 7th grade 'A' Lady Cub basketball team competed in the Coble Middle School tournament this past weekend placing 4th overall. Friday night the Lady Cubs did not waste anytime by taking care of business defeating Coleman 25-7. Brianna Click was the leading scorer on the night with 14 points. FSMS started Saturday off with a tough loss to Danny Jones Middle School, 47-23 with Sydney Eitel leading the Lady Cubs scoring 12 points. The Lady Cubs fought hard for four outstanding quarters but fell short for 3rd place to Permenter by only three points, losing 24-21. Brianna Click lead the offense with seven points and both Maresa Carter and Sydney Eitel added six each. The Lady Cubs will be back on the court Monday at home against Coleman Middle School.
