The FSMS Cubs 8th grade A team played the Howard Knights Thursday night and won a great game.  The Final score was 55-38.  Everyone on the team had a very positive role in the win.  Lance Tipton led the cubs in scoring with 12.  Khairi Muhammad and Gage Staggs chipped in 8 and 7.  Defensively Landon Atterberry and Bryce Griffin came off the bench to provide a spark with aggresive plays and steals.  Caleb Bly and Karsten Green also had a major impact offensively and defensively.  The Cubs are going in to the Thanksgiving break with a very positive attitude about the season and look forward to playing permenter December 1st. In the B team game, Kylar Castillo led the Cubs with 16 points. Joel Mathis came up with 6 points. Jacob Ammerman had a bunch of steals leading the defense. Grant Bolgiano and Hector Hernandez came up with great rebounds all night. The Cubs came out hot with an early lead. They battled all four quarters, but came up just short in the 45-37 loss to the Howard Knights.
